Cambia contracted with Clarity starting in 2020 to expand its brand journalism efforts. The project includes reporting and writing articles that present Cambia’s leaders as experts in their fields in a manner that is not purely promotional. The aim of this deeply reported series is to offer practical, actionable information for Cambia’s health plan members and the general public.

“Health care is, of course, full of complexity. Our aim as communicators is to ensure we convey information in a way that is clear and relevant and keeps health literacy in mind,” said Cambia’s Vice President for External Relations. “Having previously worked with Clarity’s Jillian Cohan Martin, I was confident in her ability to help us tell stories clearly to our member audience and our community. “ 

Articles in the series published on the website of Regence BCBS, one of Cambia’s subsidiaries. They include stories on the youth mental health crisis; innovative efforts to bring mental health care to Utah abuse survivors; efforts to combat cyberbullying; and how rural and Indigenous-serving schools can provide culturally appropriate social-emotional support.
